Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: October 8, 2026

Plain Living Skills is supported by affiliate commissions. We want you to know exactly how that works.

What it means

Some links on this site go to products that other companies create and sell. When you buy through one of those links, we may earn a commission. The price you pay is the same.

Which products

We do not make the products we link to. For example, our page on the Amish approach to long power outages links to a free video presentation by the publisher of a paid guide, sold through the Digistore24 platform. The video is the publisher's sales presentation, and the claims in it are the publisher's own.

How we choose

We only link to products that fit the topics of this site: practical household and preparedness skills. A commission never changes what we say about a product. If something on one of our pages is wrong, please tell us and we will fix it.

Orders, refunds and support

Your order is with the seller, not with us. Refunds and product support are handled by the seller and its payment platform. Their contact details are on your order confirmation email.
